Majority of Fast Food Joints to Unify Ordering

Qu's 4th Annual State of Digital Survey reveals that the digital growth spikes of QSR and fast-casual brands are slowing down and settling into a predictable pattern. Digital sales growth is expected to continue at a more consistent rate. The report also found that 50% of operators plan to move to a unified ordering system in the next two years, citing improved data capture, integrations/APIs, and internal efficiencies as top reasons.
Order inaccuracy is the biggest problem facing the off-prem guest experience, with 65% of operators looking to solve the issue with unified fulfillment systems and processes. AI & Machine Learning are at the top of the innovations priority list for increasing efficiency, profitability, and data collection/intelligence.
