The Rose Group, a major Applebee’s franchisee based in Newtown, Pennsylvania, has acquired six additional Applebee’s locations near Harrisburg.

This expansion increases its total to 55 restaurants across four states. The seller, Keystone Apple, and financial details were not disclosed. With 30 years of experience, The Rose Group has earned Franchise of the Year honors seven times, including the past two years.

Jason Rose, VP of real estate, expressed excitement about entering the growing Harrisburg market. Despite recent struggles for Applebee’s, including a sales decline and bankruptcies from other franchisees, there’s optimism for the brand's future growth.
