Uber Eats Expands Food Delivery Robot Fleet to New Markets

Uber Eats is set to revolutionize food delivery with the deployment of up to 2,000 additional robots from Serve Robotics.

After a successful pilot program in Los Angeles, these four-wheeled rovers will now conquer new markets such as San Jose, Dallas, and Vancouver. With Level 4 autonomy, these bots can operate independently, reducing traffic, pollution, and increasing delivery efficiency.

Customers can opt for robot deliveries and receive notifications along with a code to unlock the robot or car and retrieve their food. This milestone partnership signifies a significant leap towards mass commercialization of autonomous delivery robotics.
