Utah Spirits Go Digital: Online Orders in 2024!
Sanjana B | December 08, 2023

Utah's alcohol authority aims to launch online liquor orders in 2024, introducing "Click & Collect" for state-run stores.
Under the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Services (DABS), the digital infrastructure is in progress, offering a convenient system akin to grocery shopping. Customers browse online, select products, and choose a pickup location, sidestepping queues and crowds.
DABS, reshaped under Governor Spencer Cox, prioritizes modernization for enhanced customer service. With a $579 million sales record last year, the agency funds public safety, schools, and the state's general fund.
Utah, while regulating alcohol, anticipates a tech-savvy leap in liquor retail by summer 2024.
